Unknown Flower
First posted August 1, 2004 Last updated August 1, 2004

I have found this flower both along Austin Creek, a tributary of the Russian River, and this specimen, photographed August 1, 2004, in Samuel P. Taylor State Park. Both plants were growing right at water's edge.

Is it a native, or is it an exotic? The leaves appear to be of a lilly or iris type.
