2009 Demonstration Tying

Demonstration Tier's Workshop

A workshop will be held on Tuesday, from 3-5, for all demonstration tiers. It will be a roundtable discussion, featuring several Buszek winners and members of the Fly Tying Board of Governors, who will share their thoughts on what makes a superior demo tier. The purpose of the workshop is to help all demonstration tiers understand and develop the skills they need to effectively communicate with their audience.

Tiers' and Liars' Barbeque

There will be an outdoor barbeque just for the tiers and their spouses at 5:30 pm, following the Workshop. The cost is $20 per person and covers BBQ chicken & BBQ beef sandwiches, and soda; beer will be cash bar. Tie up and bring several of your favorite flies, as your nametag will have a cork on it for you to mount your pride and joy. Bring a few more for trading. Over $1000 of raffle prizes will be awarded.
