Linanthus sp

probably L. montanusa (mustang clover)
but possibly Linanthus ciliatus, or L. androsaceus
(First posted September 18, 2006 Last updated September 18, 2006)

These were photographed by Eric Larsen, 2005, in Zweng Pass or Paradise.

This petite flower (about 4 mm across) has whorls of spikey leaves below it. It is in the Phlox (Polemoniaceae) family.
